Question by smartgirls_11: How does this sound???? Any errors or ideas on how to make it better?
Just two years ago, around this time of year, I went to India. I stayed there for about three months and wow! Who knew what an adventure I was in for? It was a real nifty and fascinating experience. I got to meet a variety of people, taste new food, go shopping, and also get used to major changes of everyday life such as the bathrooms.
First of all, the atmosphere was very unique in India. It was nothing like the atmosphere here. For example, smelly goats, towering camels, enormous buffalos, and active cows were everywhere including the roads and streets. You could see motorcycles and little toy-like taxis called rickshaws going here and there that people depend on for transportation. Buses, trucks, cars, rickshaws and camels share the road. You would also see dozens of people crossing the street and just hanging around. Furthermore, there were no stop lights. The driving conditions were extremely chaotic and you have to be very cautious of what you do. You can hear horns honking everywhere. People honk their horns mostly every second to get each other’s attention. It was actually amusing to me having to be careless about everything because I am familiar with an orderly life. In India, people just cooperate with one another to make things happen.
Moreover, the food is absolutely mind-blowing! It is very tasty and appetizing. The food is very spicy and it opens up your taste buds. Their mouth-watering snacks that you could purchase from food stalls on just about every corner of the street will make you ask for more. Some snacks are samosas, pakoras, and cold drinks like faludas. The ice cream over there is their specialty. There are a great deal of flavors mixed with heaps of toppings. You can get anything you want for a very little cost. You name it! Most of the restaurants are open 24 hours. In India, people just enjoy themselves throughout the day. They go to sleep very late either watching movies or hanging out. They barely have any laws. It is similar to New York City, the city where everyone barely gets any sleep.
In addition to, India offers a great deal of clothes. You can get any type of fabric or cloth. Traditional, modern, eastern, western, oriental and so much more. It has clothes from all over the world. India is one of the world’s largest textile industry. Additionally, India’s clothes are very fashionable. They have innumerable designs and colors. There are a wide variety of choices that you can choose from.
Overall, India is an incredibly vibrant place. It has such a rich culture and many traditions that people follow. If you were to go there, at this time, I think you would be just amazed to see how different our life is from theirs. India is a very beautiful destination, full of majestic and dazzling sites, just out of your dreams. Food as tasteful as it is colorful, vast plains, incredible riches, and fashionable clothing. There are many different languages and cultures. It has so many diverse people with different needs, likes and dislikes, strengths, opinions and ideas. But they all come together and work as a team to support each other and achieve their goals.

Question by GreenBird1970: Timeshare work can someone tell me about it?
I am currently a GSM of a large auto dealership. My hours are not bad for this type of work but I am getting bored with it. My wife and I are wanting some more adventure in our lives but we can not afford to give up a steady income. My question it this, from someone who is in the timeshare industry can you tell me what it is like? The general commision scale, hours invovled job satisfaction from yourself and others best companies to work for ect? And any other information would be great! Websites I can get more from you name, we are taking our time and approaching this with care. I am not worried about the ability to sale so taking that out of the equation give me the low down! :)

Best answer:

Answer by SantaBud
It’s actually similar to auto sales in a number of ways. The competition is tough, & you have to watch your back to protect sales YOU have developed from being grabbed by some opportunist w no scrupples. There are some stiff quotas & time expectations, but you are familiar w that also.

Dealing w shoppers & folks enticed by a free weekend deal , etc are also obstacles to overcome. Sell the deal , secure the financing, & sell the financing & you are golden.

Actual commission levels will vary based on the region , & the ammenities offered at the property you are marketing. There are also bonuses for selling above market (kind of like selling at sticker)

Pick an area you wish to reside near & you have the skillset already in place!!

Good Luck!

Question by : does anyone have any tips on how to get a job on a cruise line?
I have 3 years experience in the hotel industry, and 3 more years of experience in the customer service/ front desk field… I’m very outgoing, bubbly by nature, and I love new adventures and experiences. I think it would be an amazing job, and I would love to find out more! Any advice would be appreciated!

Best answer:

Answer by Steve
Cruise lines jobs aren’t easy for Americans. Most of the hiring is done by companies specializing in dining room staff, Retail staff, casino staff, Hotel staff, Housekeeping.. etc.

But you can get jobs as cruise staff (cruise directors, DJ). That means there are only 10-30 Americans per ship. Find a list of cruise lines and apply directly to them. Typically you’ll be on 4 months and off two but some companies have contracts that are for 6 months and two.

You’ll most likely have to go to Miami or LA to interview.

Question by Chris: Do you think a movie should be made about the Barefoot Bandit?
A fascinating real-life story about adventure, theft (credit cards, food from home to home), fantasy, and island hopping by stealing and flying airplanes. 18 year old Colton Harris Moore is finally captured and arrested on Eleuthera Island in Bahamas. This real-life saga reminds me so much of the movie Catch Me If You Can (Leonardo De Caprio) which was based on true story & life of Frank Abagnale Jr. Moore has become famous (or infamous) on the Internet (Facebook, YouTube, etc) as well as offline in the entertainment industry.

Best answer:

Answer by Calvin-Poor Hooch!
A movie should be mad about the barefoot bandit as much as a movie glamorizing Jack the Ripper.

Well, maybe not the best comparison, but he’ no petty criminal and should be glorified.

Question by Laura: Is it Possible To Create Your Own Anime And Voice In It Too?
If so, how?

Ever since I was 11 years old (maybe even younger than that), I’ve wanted to pursue voice acting in animation as a career – especially anime. I recently finished watching the dvd Adventures in Voice Acting, but they do not deal with this topic because I don’t think it’s ever been done before.

I’ve noticed a lot of the anime in the anime industry today are very dirty or very violent. If possible, I want to voice

Best answer:

Answer by firaga_flame
Sure, make your own anime. Flash program, drawing tablet, draw it yourself. However, it is very very very unlikely you’ll succeed with just some flash anime. You want a job in voice acting? Get a manager and contact the business of your choice.

I highly doubt you’ll get in at 15, though.

Question by agranews: To expose rural way of life of India to foreign visitors is best way to know real India?
India plans to expose the country’s unique rural way of life to foreign visitors. Describing the rural project as “responsible tourism”, the Tourism Secretary, Shri Sujit Banerjee said: “This is a very innovative rural tourism project which positions India’s rural way of life as a unique visitor experience.” “Now we are going into wellness, cruise, rural, adventure and faith tourism,” Shri Banerjee said. He also said that the current global financial downturn will not affect the burgeoning tourism industry in the country.

if you really wanted to see the rural life of India, you need to go to Rajasthan and Punjab in India. Stay there for couple of weeks and you can see what really India is.

Real Indian guys are really soft hearted and hardworking guys. only in the rural areas You can see what humanity is!
and in urban areas you can see what diversity do India have.

Question by krycek1717: Is Anybody Else Annoyed With the Book Publishing Industry?
Okay, maybe I just came here to vent, but everytime I walk into a bookstore, it seems like my only choices of a read are books with titles like ‘my shitty childhood,’ ‘woe is me, I had such a hard beginning,’ and other such tales. Either that or so called self-penned celebrity bios’, (and let’s face it, anyone who pays attention to the small print will realise that Katie Price never contributed one word to her so called novels, isn’t this worse than plaigarism?? At best, it makes her a liar. And why are the publishing houses shelling out millions in royalties to so called celebrities when for the most part, their books end in bargain bins for 50p?) Who actually buys this rubbish? Where have all the real books gone? You know, the ones where writers had something profound to say, or books that allowed for some adventure. I read books to escape real life for a little while, not be confronted by it. Anyone else feel me?

Best answer:

Answer by nekoolzec
Start looking for out of country authors. Perhaps the real question is where have all the American authors gone?
